Equipping and empowering the most vulnerable at-risk children and young people. Turning loss into a purpose by creating a positive change in their lives and becoming vibrant and active members of our society.

 

Living the Dream Foundation is a not-for-profit organisation established in 2008 . The services of Living the Dream Foundation create engagement opportunities for the most vulnerable at-risk children and young people to have access to an environment where they can feel welcomed, safe and empowered through our meaningful Wellbeing, Mentoring and Member Care programs during times of hardships and uncertainty.

Our Programs

  • Wellbeing

    Take part in a hands-on strength and conditioning environment to be more physically active. Experience working with a ‘Personal Coach’, set your goals and challenge yourself to achieve them.

  • Mentoring

    Experience mentoring with a ‘Life Coach’, a friend who will help you to identify your aspirations so you can be the best version of yourself. Find balance and purpose for your life.

  • Member Care

    Connect to a support network, or professional person, or services to help you in the most challenging times.

Our Youths

  • Think Healthy

    Turning loss into purpose starts with learning how to think healthy and positively. The process of change begins with finding a ‘Friend or Support Network’ to help you identify and discuss areas of a required ‘Change’.

    • Think how to be active

    • Think how to eat healthy

    • Think how to rest well

    • Think how to manage stress

  • Get Healthy

    Getting healthy will start with an action plan, a new habit that will help you turn loss into purpose. Simple and well designed ‘Action Plan’ will get you active.

    • Get active with daily 30 to 60 minutes of exercise

    • Get 3 healthy meals per day

    • Get 7-8 hours of good rest at night

    • Get ’30 minutes time-out’ in a day where you can review your mental health

  • Stay Healthy

    Staying healthy is maintaining your positive thinking regards staying heathy and active following your action plan. This way you will be able to maintain turning loss into purpose.

    • Staying positive by practicing positive self-talk

    • Staying positive by evaluating your day, action plan and mental health

    • Staying positive by following through your healthy lifestyle

    • Staying positive by calling your friend or support network

Your Support

Living the Dream Foundation relies entirely on funding from community donations, private sector funding and Government grants to run our programs.
